“I’m excited to be working with WhyHunger and Artists Against Hunger & Poverty. I spend most of my days now in Los Angeles and Boston, and it’s easy to see where people need help when you’re living in a city. With WhyHunger I hope to help the fight against hunger in many of the cities that I travel to as an artist, and starting here in Boston makes perfect sense. Boston will always feel like home to me and I hope I can do my part to give back, and get my fans and friends involved to help me.”
But wait, there’s more!
Bleu will also be speaking on a panel On Tuesday April 26th for “Financing creativity – Microfunding and VCs” at Berklee & Midem’s Rethink Music Conference aimed at discussing and finding solutions for the current challenges of music creativity and commerce. His recent success with funding his latest CD through Kickstarter to the tune of $40K, plus his multi-level approach to his career as artist, professional songwriter, and producer gives him a unique take on funding creativity.
