Concert Gallery: Weezer at the Bank of America Pavilion in Boston, MA
Weezer will spending a good chunk of their summer playing festivals but in between the festival dates are some one off shows, including their show in Boston on May 19th. The band brought the fun to our city on a dreary, rainy, night to open the summer season at the Bank of America Pavilion (that felt anything but summery).
It would take more than the rain to take the wind out of Weezer’s sails though. Manned by funny frontman Rivers Cuomo the band chug-a-lugged through a 90 minute set that was made up mostly of their big hits and not so many new songs from their latest album titled Hurley. It seemed to work though and Cuomo kept the fans on their toes through their entire set. Oh..he also made me tie his shoes. A photographer’s job is never done.
