Evanescence Announces Tour Dates In Support Of October 11th Self-Titled Release
Evanescence, will release their third studio album, Evanescence, on October 11th through Wind-Up Records. Evanescence will mark the band’s first release in five years. Recorded in Nashville, the self-titled, 12 track album was produced by Grammy winning producer Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Alice in Chains, Rush) and shows a clear evolution in the band’s writing while maintaining their signature sound.
On Monday, August 8th, Evanescence will perform their new single “What You Want” for the first time LIVE on MTV at 7:54pm ET during “MTV First: Evanescence.” Immediately following the performance, the band will stay on for an exclusive interview and interactive Q&A session with MTV News’ James Montgomery on MTV.com. Fans can get in on the action and submit questions beginning today through MTV.com or via Twitter (using @MTVNews / hash-tag #EVMTV). Following the conclusion of the live stream, fans will be able to stream the full album version of “What You Want” on MTV.com.
Evanescence will also hit the road this fall for a 15 city North American tour in support of the album which kicks off October 10th in Oakland, CA and continues through November 1st in New York City. The Pretty Reckless will be the direct support and Rival Sons will be the opening act on all dates.
