The last few years have been busy ones for Holly Williams. She has lent her talent to various musical projects including a Bob Dylan lead album of unfinished Hank Williams songs and more recently she recorded a cover of Paul McCartney’s ”My Love” for an album in tribute to Linda McCartney. She also opened a successful clothing store in Nashville but something was missing. Her rambling spirit started to miss the road. So being the intrepid artist that she is she started her own label and recorded her latest record.
Kicking off the tour in support of her third record The Highway (February 5th release date) Holly Williams played a sold out performance at Joe’s Pub in New York City. The crowd, rich with “industry folk” was treated to the material off of The Highway as well as a few from her last release Here with Me.
Williams will perform on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on January 30th and from there she will embark on several months of touring including some tour dates with Sheryl Crow and then Jewel. For the complete list of tour dates and to order The Highway visit her official website HollyWilliams.com.
