Goo Goo Dolls Set To Headline The Creative Coalition Inaugural Ball

John Rzeznik of The Goo Goo Dolls performing at The Casino Ballroom in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire on April 15, 2010Congrats to the Goo Goo Dolls!  The band has been selected to perform at The Creative Coalition’s Inaugural Ball, to take place on January 21, 2013 at the Harman Center for the  Arts in Washington, DC.

The Inaugural Ball is a benefit gala for The Creative Coalition (www.thecreativecoalition.org) – the premiere nonprofit 501(c)(3), nonpartisan social and public advocacy organization of the arts and entertainment community.  Founded  in 1989 by prominent members of the creative community, The Creative  Coalition is dedicated to educating, mobilizing, and activating its members on issues of public importance, primarily public education, the  First Amendment, and arts advocacy.  Actor Tim Daly serves as the organization’s President.

Confirmed hosts in attendance include actor and President of The Creative Coalition Tim Daly (“Private Practice”); and actors, Johnny Galecki (“The Big Bang Theory”), Eric Stonestreet (“Modern Family”), Connie Britton (“Nashville”), Paula Abdul (“American Idol”), Matt Bomer (“White Collar”), Giancarlo Esposito (“Revolution”), Melissa Leo (The Fighter), John Leguizamo (Moulin Rouge), Alfre Woodard (“Memphis Beat”), Taraji P. Henson (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button), Evan Handler (“Californication”), Omar Epps (“House”), Marlon Wayans (Scary Movie), Alan Cumming (“The Good Wife”), Amy Brenneman (“Private Practice”), David Arquette (Scream), Richard Schiff (“The West Wing”), Wayne Knight (“Seinfeld”), and others.
