Soundgarden Announces Summer Shows

Well, since Soundgarden announced that they were reuniting and hitting the studio to write and record what will be the first new Soundgarden album in over 15 years the one thing we all wondered was, when will they play live!  Looks like that question has been answered.  The band has announced four summer dates with the promise of more to come.  They encourage fans to stay tuned to soundgardenworld.com for all the latest but for now check out the four announced dates below:

Meat Puppets have announced a run of spring and summer tour dates supporting the relese of their 13th LP titled Lollipop out April 12, 2011 on Megaforce Records. The album was produced by band leader Curt Kirwood, and recorded at Spoon’s HiFi Studio in Austin.  Lollipop features the Kirkwood brothers back at work and back at play on 12 powerful new original cuts.

Jack’s Mannequin & Guster Announce Co-Headlining Tour

Jack’s Mannequin has announced a co-headlining summer tour with Guster, which kicks off August 7th in Baltimore and runs through September 4th in Columbus. Pre-sale tickets for the tour go on sale today at 10am local time here.
