As we all anxiously await the release of Blink-182’s upcoming album Neighborhoods, the band set out as co-headliners (along with My Chemical Romance) on the 2011 Honda Civic Tour.  Blink seems to be making the most of the road by testing a lot of the new material from the first single “Up All Night” to other new songs like “Ghost on the Dancefloor”.  For those more interested in a taste of Blink nostalgia, they had you covered from “What’s My Age Again?” to “All the Small Things”. All in all the nicely rounded out set list gave us a great taste of the new material without depriving us of the songs that are forever ingrained in our hearts and souls.

As for the live show, one thing hasn’t changed and that’s the stage banter back and forth between Mark and Tom.  Blink may age gracefully but their onstage personnas seem to have contracted Benjamin Button syndrome.  They’re goofy and silly and exactly what you’d expect from Blink-182.

Neighborhoods may prove to be a more “mature” album from Blink-182 but most of us have grown up with them and can appreciate that.  The Honda Civic Tour makes it’s way across the country and back with dates through October.  Check out the remaining dates here.

On a side note, Blink-182 is hands down my favorite band to shoot.  This was the third time I’ve had the privilege and they did not disappoint!  Thank you Mark! Thank you Tom! Thank you Travis!  If you need a tour photographer, hit up this girl!
