Pick Up The Phone Tour 2009 Bands and Dates Announced

The reality of depression and suicide has inspired artists to take part in the PICK UP THE PHONE TOUR, a music tour committed to reducing the stigma associated with mental health as well as making the access to help and hope for all safe and without fear. Blue October will headline the inaugural PICK UP THE PHONE TOUR–where impassioned artists join together to raise awareness and funds for depression and suicide prevention–and Atlanta-based hip-hop artist and producer B.o.B will open on the trek. The PICK UP THE PHONE TOUR marks the first-ever tour solely benefiting suicide prevention in history. The month-long trek will launch Thursday, October 22nd at the Music Farm in Charleston, SC and wrap up with a two-night stand at Stubbs in Austin, TX November 20 and 21. Blue October & Switchfoot join forces for a Summer Tour

Blue October have announced their Crazy Making Summer Tour with Switchfoot to kick off July 26th in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Special guests Ours (A TWRY Fave!!) and Longwave will also share the stage with these great bands from the first date to last, making it a true summer music event.
Tickets for this must-see concert go on-sale to the general public for all shows on June 5th. However, exclusive Pre-sale tickets for fans are made available via each of the four band’s websites on June 1st. The highly anticipated trek is currently scheduled to run through late-August, and includes shows in Dallas, Los Angeles and New York City.
