“Dave Matthews Band Caravan” Details Announced; First Festival To Be Held In Atlantic City, NJ June 24-26

Dave Matthews Band announced earlier this year that he would be bringing his “Dave Matthews Band Caravan” to four U.S. locales this summer. Th eseries of three-day festivals will feature a diverse array of musical talent performing on three stages during the day. As headliners, Dave Matthews Band will perform a full set each night. The band is taking the year off from touring, so these will be its only performances this year.

 Atlantic City, NJ has been selected to host the first “Dave Matthews Band Caravan,” which will take place on June 24th, 25th and 26th at Bader Field, formerly the site of the Atlantic City Municipal Airport.

In addition to Dave Matthews Band, the lineup for the Atlantic City “Caravan” will include:
David Gray, Ray LaMontagne, The Flaming Lips, O.A.R., Damian Marley, Bassnectar, Dr. Dog, Amos Lee, Thievery Corporation, Michael Franti and Spearhead, Warren Haynes Band, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Guster, Lotus, Rebelution, Fitz and the Tantrums, Carolina Chocolate Drops, Lisa Hannigan, Punch Brothers, From Good Homes, Delta Spirit, Big Gigantic, Alberta Cross, Mariachi El Bronx, TR3, Vusi Mahlasela, The Budos Band and Bobby Long and special performances by Dave Matthews Band members Carter Beauford, Stefan Lessard plus a Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds acoustic set.  

Tickets will be available as three-day passes only. An online ticket request period for the Atlantic City festival begins Monday, March 14th, at 10:00 AM ET and concludes Monday, March 21st, at 10:00 AM ET at Hotel and travel packages will also be available. 2011 Rocklahoma Details & Line-Up Announced

The 2011 Rocklahoma Festival returns May 27-29  at “Catch the Fever” Festival Grounds in Pryor, OK. 2011 marks the 5th Anniversary of the three-day camp & rock festival that will feature a mix of the best classic bands and today’s top active rock artists.

Details for Rocklahoma, 2010, scheduled for May 28-30 in Pryor, OK have been announced.

The ROCKLAHOMA 2010 line-up includes:  ZZ Top, Godsmack, Tesla, Buckcherry, Cinderella, Chevelle, Stone Sour, Theory of a Deadman, Saliva, Saving Abel, Adelitas Way, Janus, Aranda, Burn Halo, Richy Nix, Shaman’s Harvest, Taddy Porter, Like A Storm, Taking Dawn, New Medicine, Year Long Disaster, Brookroyal, Within Reason, Wildstreet, Firstryke, Krank, The Glitter Boys and more very special guests to be announced.

Established in 2007 as a Classic Rock destination festival, ROCKLAHOMA organizers focused on revamping the 2010 event to encompass a much broader mix of classic, current and up-and-coming rock artists.
