New Behind-the-Scenes Video from Lifehouse‏

Lifehouse recently premiered the music video for “Halfway Gone,” the first single from their upcoming release Smoke & Mirrors.  Now, the band has released a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the video, directed by the talented Frank Borin (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Good Charlotte).  In this clip, the guys discuss the concept for “Halfway Gone” and the tricks they used to make people appear out of nowhere.  Check out the video below:

Bevy of rock bands unite for “VH1 Best Cruise Ever”

3 Doors Down have announced they will host “VH1 Best Cruise Ever,” taking place April 15-19, 2010.

The cruise, from Tampa, Florida to Grand Cayman on board the Carnival Inspiration, will feature the Mississippi rock quintet, Lifehouse, Shinedown, and special guests Carolina Liar, Finger Eleven, Safetysuit and more.  Exclusive pre-sale signups will take place through July 22 via the event’s website  Cruise tickets go on sale to the general public on August 3.

3 Doors Down primal with the debut of their newest video, “Let Me Be Myself,” featuring the GEICO cavemen.  Available on the band’s site,, the video for “Let Me Be Myself,” the third single from the band’s new self-titled studio album, was directed by Shaun Silva (Kenny Chesney, Sugarland, Rascal Flatts), who helmed 3DD’s most recent video, “It’s Not My Time.”
