Avenged Sevenfold, the hardest working band in rock, has kicked off their Welcome To The Family Tour with Three Days Grace and Bullet For My Valentine in the support slots. We caught their recent show at the Mass Mutual Center in Springfield, MA, check out our gallery from the show below.

The band is hot off of winning three Revolver Golden God awards and they just released a new song titled “Not Ready To Die”. The song The song is featured in Call of the Dead, one of five new maps in the Call of Duty: Black Ops Escalation content pack – available now on Xbox Live. You can buy the song on iTunes here.

So you may have heard that Nightmare, the new album from Avenged Sevenfold, debuted at the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s album chart and also No.1 on Billboard’s Hard Music, Digital, Internet and Alternative Album Charts last week.  Not too shabby boys!

Avenged Sevenfold Debut New Song “Welcome To The Family”

Avenged Sevenfold have just premiered the song “Welcome to the Family” with video footage from the upcoming video game, Call of Duty : Black Ops.

“Welcome to the Family” comes off of their new album, Nightmare, which in-stores on July 27th.

Avenged Sevenfold have just released a video for their new single, “Nightmare.” The clip shows lead singer M. Shadows being strapped down to a gurney and rushed through the halls of a mental asylum where room by room, he encounters different “Nightmares.  Quite creeptastic! 

“Nightmare” is from the band’s fifth studio album of the same name, which in-stores on July 27th.

Avenged Sevenfold have just revealed the artwork for their upcoming album, Nightmare, which in-stores on July 27th. The band will also be releasing a  special limited edition of their upcoming album on Warner Bros. Records. Nightmare was produced by Mike Elizondo (Dr. Dre, Eminem) and mixed by noted engineer Andy Wallace.  Tracklisting below.

Book of Nightmares includes the full Nightmare album on CD, plus an expanded booklet featuring lyric sheets from the band and exclusive artwork  all packaged in a bound book with a silver-plated Nightmare crest. The package also includes a limited 24 x 36  lithograph entitled Death Bat Anatomy featuring original artwork on textured paper embossed, as well as an instant digital download of Avenged Sevenfold’s current single Nightmare.
