“Record a Song with Switchfoot” is BIDFIRE’s first charity auction and kicks off Friday, May 28th at 12pm Pacific. The winner will be flown to San Diego to record a song with the band that will be released on iTunes and MySpace.com, VIP access to the band’s June 24th show and more!
BIDFIRE is an all new type of online auction that allows users purchase bids for $1 each and then search through the BIDFIRE database for items they’re interested in purchasing. As each bid is placed, the price increases incrementally and the person with the last bid placed when the auction closes, wins.
A portion of all bids placed during the auction will benefit StandUp for Kids (http://www.standupforkids.org/), a non-profit organization dedicated to making a difference in the lives of at-risk and homeless youth so rock for a good cause!
