KMFDM Announce August Tour Run

KMFDM have announced plans to embark on their first North American tour since the April release of WTF?! on Metropolis Records.

Joining KMFDM on the WTF?! tour are Army of the Universe, 16Volt (Aug. 3 to 14 only) and Human Factors Lab.  Army of the Universe, an Italian industrial duo, recently released their debut album Mother Ignorance on Metropolis Records.   The band features European DJ Albert Vorne aka Trebla.  Chris Vrenna (Marilyn Manson, Nine Inch Nails, KMFDM), will join Army of the Universe for a handful of dates (noted below).

17 150x150 Emilys Army Announce East Coast Dates After a successful two-week West Coast tour, Emily’s Army have announced four East Coast live dates in August in support of their full-length debut Don’t Be A Dick, which was released by Adeline Records on June 14th including a stop at T.T. The Bear’s Place in Cambridge, MA on August 11th!  Check out all the dates below.

About Emily’s Army:
Hailing from the East Bay, Emily’s Army is comprised of Max Becker on bass, Cole Becker on guitar, Travis Neumann on guitar, and drummer Joey Armstrong. At the ripe age of 15, 16, and 17 years old, the Oakland based band has already spent two years touring up and down the West Coast. The band’s name comes from Max and Cole Becker’s 15-year old cousin Emily, who was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis in 1998 and has suffered from the disease her entire life. In tribute, the band adopted the name Emily’s Army, which also happens to be the moniker for a fundraising organization in their cousin’s honor.

 Wilco has announced their plans to  release their eighth studio album - The Whole Love - on September 27 through their newly launched dBpm Records.

Volbeat Announce NA Summer Tour Dates; Cold To Support

Volbeat has announced a Summer tour across North America that brings the band coast to coast, and in to Canada for multiple dates. Cold is set to release their new album Superfiction on July 19.

The tour will begin in Toronto, Ontario on July 24th at Metal TO, and conclude with a two-night stand on September 3 & 4 at the House of Blues in Anaheim, CA. Death Cab for Cutie has announced the details for their summer headline tour (in addition to previously announced club dates). The dates support their upcoming release CODES AND KEYS, due out on May 31st.  Pre-sale tickets to most of the newly announced dates will be available starting on Friday, April 29th at www.dcfcunion.com; all remaining tickets will then go on sale to the general public the following weekend, May 6th-8th .   Frightened Rabbit will be opening the shows.
