Middle Class Rut Announce Headlining Fall Tour Dates

Middle Class Rut have announced a run of fall headlining tour dates. Fresh off the heels of a month long run with the Vans Warped Tour, MC Rut will be joined by Lite Brite and Ume as they make their way across the country. They will be hitting Indianapolis, Minneapolis, Tucson and bouncing around Texas along their routing wrapping their tour at the famed Emo’s in Austin, so be sure to mark your calendars –  and check out the full list of dates is below!

Before kicking off their headlining run, you can catch Middle Class Rut at such festivals as the Buzz Beach Ball and Sonic Boom 2011 on August 19 and September 4, respectively, as well as at Pointfest on September 10. With a busy fall season ahead of them, MC Rut will also be playing as part of the heavy-hitting lineup at KROQ’s Epicenter 2011 on September 24.

The Kooks Announce US Fall Tour Run

The Kooks have announced that they will return to the U.S. for their first tour in three years! The band just released their debut single “Junk Of The Heart (Happy)” which will be followed by their brand new album of the same name on September 13th on Astralwerks/Capitol Records.

In conjunction with their U.S. tour, The Kooks will include a free mp3 download of the track “Junk of the Heart (Happy)” with each ticket sold online. In addition to receiving the free mp3 download, fans purchasing tickets to fall U.S. dates will have the opportunity to pre-order an exclusive version of the new album Junk of the Heart, including a bonus track – an acoustic version of “Rosie” – not available anywhere else in the U.S.  Additionally, an acoustic version of “Junk Of The Heart (Happy)” is now available via SPIN.

John Mellencamp Announces Fall Tour Dates

John Mellencamp has announced a new leg for his No Better Than This Tour, that will take place this fall. The new leg includes performances set this coming October and November in Eastern, Southern and Midwestern markets in the U.S. and Canada.

The 17-date tour begins on October 25 at Boston’s Citi Performing Arts Center Wang Theater and will be making a stop in Savannah, GA at the Johnny Mercer Theater on November 11. Check out the full list of dates below.

KMFDM Announce August Tour Run

KMFDM have announced plans to embark on their first North American tour since the April release of WTF?! on Metropolis Records.

Joining KMFDM on the WTF?! tour are Army of the Universe, 16Volt (Aug. 3 to 14 only) and Human Factors Lab.  Army of the Universe, an Italian industrial duo, recently released their debut album Mother Ignorance on Metropolis Records.   The band features European DJ Albert Vorne aka Trebla.  Chris Vrenna (Marilyn Manson, Nine Inch Nails, KMFDM), will join Army of the Universe for a handful of dates (noted below).

Emily’s Army Announce East Coast Dates

After a successful two-week West Coast tour, Emily’s Army have announced four East Coast live dates in August in support of their full-length debut Don’t Be A Dick, which was released by Adeline Records on June 14th including a stop at T.T. The Bear’s Place in Cambridge, MA on August 11th!  Check out all the dates below.

About Emily’s Army:
Hailing from the East Bay, Emily’s Army is comprised of Max Becker on bass, Cole Becker on guitar, Travis Neumann on guitar, and drummer Joey Armstrong. At the ripe age of 15, 16, and 17 years old, the Oakland based band has already spent two years touring up and down the West Coast. The band’s name comes from Max and Cole Becker’s 15-year old cousin Emily, who was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis in 1998 and has suffered from the disease her entire life. In tribute, the band adopted the name Emily’s Army, which also happens to be the moniker for a fundraising organization in their cousin’s honor.

Volbeat Announce NA Summer Tour Dates; Cold To Support

Volbeat has announced a Summer tour across North America that brings the band coast to coast, and in to Canada for multiple dates. Cold is set to release their new album Superfiction on July 19.

The tour will begin in Toronto, Ontario on July 24th at Metal TO, and conclude with a two-night stand on September 3 & 4 at the House of Blues in Anaheim, CA.
