Kid Rock Reveals “$20 Best Night Ever” U.S. Summer Tour Dates
April 8, 2013 by TWRY Staff

Most concert-goers cannot point to a show in the last decade where they only paid twenty bucks to get in, but Kid Rock is hoping to change all that this summer with his new “$20 Best Night Eever” Tour featuring $20 ticket prices in all sections.
Kid Rock is breaking all the rules with the announcement of his U.S. Summer tour by offering tickets in all sections (reserved seats and lawn) at an affordable $20 price point, using paperless tickets where possible, and lowering prices on everything from parking to beer to merchandise for every show in every city.
Kid Rock spoke about his master plan, explaining, “Everyone knows the economy is still hurting people across the country, but I didn’t want that to be a reason why everyone couldn’t get out and enjoy themselves on a summer night. So we’re going to throw the biggest and best party ever, with prices across the board that are reasonable and transparent. No hidden fees, no gimmicks. We’re not sparing any expense on this tour, we’re going over the top as always, but that doesn’t mean we’re going to ask the fans to pay more. If this works we’re going to play to packed houses of fans who appreciate what we’re doing. If it doesn’t, might be a long summer. But someone has to go out there and fight these high prices and change things up, and I’m lucky enough that I can afford to take a pay cut. $20. Best night ever.”
Kid Rock and his Twisted Brown Trucker Band will perform under the stars in amphitheaters this summer, beginning June 28th at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, Virginia through September 15th at the Live Nation Amphitheatre in Tampa, Florida. The tour, promoted by Live Nation, includes three special shows at the DTE Energy Music Theatre in Kid Rock’s hometown of Detroit, Michigan. Kool & The Gang, ZZ Top, and Uncle Kracker are confirmed as support on select dates. Tickets go on sale to the public in select markets beginning April 12th on LiveNation.com, check out all the dates below.

Glenn Hughes of Black Country Communion
June 6, 2011 by Valerie Nerres
Glenn Hughes (vocalist/bassist from the iconic bands Deep Purple, Black Sabbath and Trapeze) is back at it with his supergroup Black Country Communion. Made up of blues rock guitarist and vocalist Joe Bonamassa, drummer Jason Bonham (Led Zeppelin/Foreigner) and keyboardist Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater) the band is gearing up for their U.S. Summer Tour that kicks off in San Diego next week in support of their new album titled 2, set to be released on June 14th.
In our recent interview with Glenn, the living legend talked candidly about his personal journey throughout the years, his drug abuse, his recovery and the impact it’s all had on his music. With the focus then turning to his current project, Black Country Communion (BCC), one of the things we touched on was his new book, Deep Purple And Beyond: Scenes From The Life Of A Rock Star and how it relates to the songwriting on the new BCC album. Check it all out below.

Catching Up With Jesse James Dupree Of Jackyl
June 2, 2011 by Roger Scales

Jackyl’s Jesse James Dupree is not a fan of idle hands. When he’s not rocking out with Jackyl he’s brewing his Jesse James America’s Outlaw Beer or co-producing Full Throttle Saloon, a realith show on Tru-TV. Amidst all of that, the band is preparing to head out for a summer full of tour dates, including three New England Stops so be there!
I recently caught up with the outspoken, unapologetic rocker himself to talk about all things Jesse James and Jackyl.
