Duff McKagan’s Loaded – Dead Skin by Eagle Rock Entertainment

Duff McKagan’s Loaded have confirmed that the release date for their new album The Taking is April 19th. You can preview the track “Dead Skin” above.

McKagan once again takes front and center on lead vocals and guitars. Long time Loaded members Jeff Rouse (bassist) and Mike Squires (guitar) return along with drummer Isaac Carpenter who joined in late 2009. Recorded by Terry Date (Soundgarden, Avenged Sevenfold), the album follows the band’s 2009 debut Sick. A feature-length film, The Taking (in the style of A Hard Day’s Night crossed with The Song Remains The Same), is due this summer.

Green Day To Release Live Album “Awesome As F*ck” On March 22nd; Track Listing Revealed

Green Day has confirmed plans to release a new live album titled Awesome As Fuck that will drop on March 22nd.  The set, which includes a CD plus bonus DVD, features explosive performances captured during the band’s 2009-2010 World Tour.  Watch the trailer below:

Nirvana Live At Reading Trailer‏

On November 3rd fans of Nirvana will have the chance to relive 1992 with the release of Nirvana Live At Reading. Today fans can watch a newly released trailer for the release which showcases bits of the crystal clear footage from that magical night in 1992. The package, which will be released in multiple formats, will include over 90 minutes of previously unreleased performance footage including classics “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” “All Apologies,” “Lithium,” “Negative Creep”, “Dumb” and more all mixed from the original multitrack master tapes in 5.1 surround.   You can preview the trailer below.
