U2 has been bringing their U2360° Tour and it’s “giant claw” to stadiums from one side of the country to the other for the past few years and they’re about to wrap up Leg 3 next month at the end of July.

Is there a Leg 4 on the horizon? As of now, we don’t know but judging from sold out performances everywhere they go, it would be welcomed.  Stay tuned to their website for all announcements and remaining tour dates.

This past weekend the band had a two show run at Angels Stadium in Anaheim, CA.  Our photographer Raymond Ahner was on hand to capture some of that U2 magic, check out his gallery below.

U2 Postpone NA Tour Dates After Bono’s Back Surgery

May 25, 2010 by

Last week news broke that U2 frontman underwent emergency surgery on his back.  Many fans feared what this might mean for the tour and the band has now officially announced that the tour is postponed.  The dates will be rescheduled in 2010.   Here’s the announcement from

Speaking at the LMU University Hospital in Munich, Paul McGuinness has confirmed the postponement of 16 shows on the U2360° Tour from Salt Lake City on June 3rd, through to New Jersey’s Meadowlands Stadium on July 19th. Tour Promoters Live Nation are now rescheduling those dates.

Paul McGuinness said, ‘Our biggest and I believe best tour has been interrupted and we’re all devastated. For a performer who lives to be on stage, this is more than a blow. He feels robbed of the chance to do what he does best and feels like he has badly let down the band and their audience. Which is of course nonsense. His concerns about more than a million ticket buyers whose plans have been turned upside down, we all share, but the most important thing right now is that Bono make a full recovery. We’re working as fast as we can with Live Nation to reschedule these dates.’

Dates to be rescheduled in 2010:

Tour promoters Live Nation have confirmed that the 16 U2360° shows from Salt Lake City on June 3rd, through to New Jersey’s Meadowlands Stadium on July 19th, will be rescheduled for 2011.

U2 tour producer/promoter Arthur Fogel, CEO of Live Nation Global Touring, said, ‘Although we understand the disappointment to U2 fans, first and foremost comes the recovery of Bono.’

Additional details on rescheduled dates will follow shortly and fans are encouraged to hold on to their tickets. We’ll have all the information on as soon as it’s confirmed.
